Super Jet Thought I was going to get a new Hull this winter. Guess not..lol

So my goal this fall was to save up and get a new hull. WELL.... looks like it will not happen until later.

Story:
Last ride of the season my buddy gives me a call and says he is going to go out; now he is new to the sport and his ski was down all summer. My girl said she will bring her camera and film us. (she is a videographer, so nice camera) So i am like HELL YEAH! Get out on the lake and start riding around. Some older guy comes out with a 550 and is having a good time with us. Well I get a nice wake from a boat and hit it wrong; I land flat and hard. All I hear is "clunk clunk clunk" then it stops hard. Knowing something is really bad, I just swim it in. (remember it is cold and in Michigan) Freezing my balls off I get to shore and pop the hood. Nothing seems out of the norm. "Even worse" I am thinking knowing it is internal. Well I get home and start to pull the motor. Oh yes.. There it is..lol

Well I will let the pictures explain the rest.

So I thought that maybe just maybe I could salvage something.. NOPE.. so now I will be spending my money in a new motor..

Tough break brother. Keep ur head up and eyes open for crazy deals. Every now and then someone needs money and is willing to dump a hull or engine cheap. I'd b all over CL, EBay, PWC today, green hulk, and iboats like a mad man. Good luck man.

Thanks bud! I hope so man. I just got a full time position at my work and have been making a good amount of cash but pretty much living paycheck to paycheck. Totally forgot about the student loans that kicked in after I was done. I have been putting my name out around locally to see if anything would sponsor. Yes I am not the greatest skier but i have a heart of the lion and work my ass off to be better if I had the right equipment. Thanks for the other sites. I didn't know about a few of them.

worn the f out and ready to go at anytime. The landing simply helped it along a little.
I agree, check Craigslist for peeps selling sit downs cheap.

Well I was out late in the season for a ride with a buddy. I ended up getting a good approach on a wake, hit it, and landed flat. Then the ski ran really rough and died..lol I am working on a motor as we speak. Tight with money does not help getting this thing running again. I hope to be out once the weather breaks for us.
