This is a new wrinkle

I subbed my 550 yesterday and after surfacing it ran for a second then died. the motor spins over fine, I get fuel, but no spark what so ever.

I checked all my connections and they are fine. the inside of my CDI box; however, did have some minor moistue in it and this weird slime coating a few spots in it.

Any ideas where I should begin looking for the issue? I'm all ears.

id look into a an owners manual that show you how to test things like the stator and coil with a multimeter.
