She's pretty. Just make sure she runs well and check the car report if you can on a motorcycle. I think you can check if it's had any wrecks.

I like the upright feel when on a bike. U get a good blast of wind though.

I dig it, those are nice bikes. I got sick of the crunched up feeling of a "rocket" plus those twins sound sweet with a pipe. Only downside is the suspension.

The SV650 are very NICE, versatile bikes. they are cheap to run, cheap to maintain, make more than enough power for anything you care to do short of going to the dragstrip with it, including the occasional track day. they are comfortable to ride and hold their value well.

you should be very happy with it. 'gratz!

the sv650 is a pretty sweet bike. i like them alot.

a buddy of mine's girlfriend rode hers from FL to CA back to FL this year.

its quick, handles well, looks good, good all around machine.

and she's a gator! :bananajump:

My buddy had one and sold it to get a 600 r. I have rode both of them and the 650 is a good beginer bike. Much like buying a kawi 750 vs a superjet. It will get the job done, but there is always better. If your gonna spend the k's on a sv, go ahead and spend the couple more and get a 600 r. Better motor, better handleing, better suspension, and better resale value. My philosphy always is, if you settle and get something you want, but not the best, it will just cost you more in the long run. Go ahead and buy the best and the EXACT one you want.

i had one of these when they first came out. it is not a fast bike around 130mph with a yoshi full race pipe. but i will have to say i have had the 600 and the liter bikes and this was by far the funnest bike i have ever owned. it would corner like a mofo and would wheelie so easy. it has a ton of torque. i actually blew it up after ridding a wheelie down the interstate about 1 1/2 miles. i say buy it unless you are looking for speed buy a gsxr 1000.

My buddy has one as a daily driver. He's had dozens of bikes through the years and this is the one he held onto(along with 2 rz350's). It's bored ported and piped and sounds awesome.
