Things were going good until...

Until I put the second piston in the new fresh bore and IT WOULD NOT GO!!! I am so pissed, One sleeve extension that hangs down has a small nick in it and its right where it binds up on the piston. It must have happened somewhere between the shop and/or the machinist, I don't really care now just trying to get it assembled. I don't want to send it out again so it looks like some sanding is my only fix at this point. Next time it will be a local shop. It just sucks to spend so much money and then have to deal with crap like this. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

that sucks man........if you could blend it in w/ the rest of the sleeve i would think you would be ok. just make sure nothing is sticking out past the cyl wall or it will wear a groove in your piston.

If it's on the very bottom of the sleeve just take a dremel and grind the area down.
