I want to switch out my stock impeller on my 2004 SJ and I have some recommendations, but would love to hear what the general consensus is. The lakes that we go to are between 4,500 to 6,000 feet in elevation and I weigh about 240-245. My ski is pretty much stock right now, other than a bilge pump, an after-market handle pole spring and some temporary Dakine footsraps (just bought the ski last fall). I would like to replace the prop and mil the heads first and then slowly keep upgrading (scoop grate, footholds, pipe....). I consider myself a free-rider, doing much more low-medium speed turns and jumps (not really into the high speed buoy racing stuff). So, I would like a prop that will give me the best bottom end performance. I called Impros in California and they recommended the Solas Hooker 9/15 pitch prop. Thoughts??
