I can be there! Too bad I just bought my first stand up yesterday and have about 30 min of experience built up! I definitely wont be getting anywhere close to the inlet for now. Unless everyone wants the wrath of my unmanned 750sx reaking havoc on them while turning circles waiting for me as I try to catch my breath from the 2 gallons of water that I just inhaled:splatt:....kinda like this but without the jump....
Anyways, if some people are going to be in town, I can be very close to the inlet. I would love for someone to come and ride my ski to give me some feedback on it's running condition and to show me that there is more to it than just crashing.

Another NE windswell could be on the way for this weekend though. If so, it would be a small ride compared to the big one, with that one now coming in November per the grapevine (and I’m thinking the 15th would be best for all, unless the 8th is simply going off)! I’m simply dragging on getting things caught up so far, but it is only Tuesday. :sneaky:

Well, besides the fact I saw something cool in Oceanside for the first time. To our side (and fighting for the waves, lol) were a bunch of tow in surfers. The waves were huge, and I had never seen that before...so it was kinda cool to witness. They didn't seem use to seeing a female out, so they were cool with me when I got over too far one time.

winter time... nice..... i'm a buy a case of alleve and head up to sebby... dont think i can make it this weekend, but definitely sometime in Nov i'll be up that way. hopefully some of the crew will show up too.. i might need to be talked into another backy one time to get me started after this long :smile:

Seas makin 3-4' surf, Sat possible lookin like the best day now maybe. Don't know if I'll make Saturday...Beachjunkey and a few of us are going into downtown Orlando 2nite...haven't even decided on a costume...this should be good!! I guess I'll text :cheer2:a few others for both days, once I get up and about/hours severely messed up...will try to turn them around by Sunday and make it myself. Will let you know if I hear anything later.

Weather was a mess today but lots of fun had by all...that showed up. Felix, kingtut, kawaski and I showed up. 3 other standup riders showed up as well. They are local (Brevard) but we didn't really make contact with them.
Waves were pretty messed up but everyone got some rides. Felix pulled off a couple inverted nose stabs.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Good news, and more relaxing to know Tuttie was there with his background in case things got nasty. Sorry it wasn't better, but happy you got ride time in, and that people showed up. You must have repaired those bars. Today looks about the same maybe, so I'm staying local again (really wanting out there...obviously if I'm up this early...plus Madam Catz just woke me :noevil:, haha)!

i have electrical diagnostic work to do on the yellow sea-doo wannabe before i can play in the daytona surf, but... the track is calling so i will prolly just show up and pull a saki....drink endlessly for 4 days and wear a towel on my head until someone shaves one of my eyebrows! :highhorse:
