Hey Guys. Prior to Wavedaze, Saki told me he wished to ride Sebby soon; therefore, much talk regarding a ride has ensued ever since. I’m leaving to go out of state in a couple of days for a week, so I thought I would begin a thread in case more were interested. We’ve all been discussing the weekend of Halloween due to prior travel arrangements two of us (Nick, myself) already had in place. Halloween is on a Friday this year!
I checked with Captain Hiram’s Resort, and they are throwing their annual “Monster Bash” (costume party/price money, live remote by 95.5, discounted specials in the Sandbar etc). 60 Watt Sunday will be the live band, and they play all over Central Florida (I’ve heard they have an extremely good stage presence). Still, I’ve never seen a bad band there in years.

Corporate is working on discounting rooms for any of us not wishing to camp or do sleep-over deals. Here’s their general link:

A few of these people will probably have others in tow who aren’t registered on the X I’m thinking, but this is at least ten riders so far, and I imagine this shall motivate Cracker to get his ski running as well (love to watch him ride, if not, he can ride my sj since the b1 should be back in action by then)! Hopefully this is already enough riders to inspire all others AND those West Coasters to jump on their skis and go big as well!
This seems like it will be our last chance at a fun ride down in the warmer waters and great surf of Sebby, so I hope it comes to play (everyone gets busy for the holidays next, and then we have Tona)! I think it’s been a year to date almost, since we’ve had a truly huge ride take off down there!
This is the plan so far as I know it.
