Spent the day at camp yesterday, it was a sad visit to the toy shed, everything is hibernating, even the fish. I did catch a lunker 16" bass but it was too bright the pics didnt turn out, also caught 2 lil sun fish but that was it all day. I definately prefer water over ice. Definately different than last year, that ski was just painted and getting ready for daytona, nice tho all i need this year is a waterbox, new steering setup, and im going to mill the head a bit.

If ya got any winter pics of your summer ski locations feel free to post em here.

Here in southern Illinois we got hit by 2 ice storms in 2 weeks. First was about an inch of ice and sleet then this week was another 3/4 inch of ice and sleet. I hate this stuff and today I got up to 2 inches of fresh wet snow.

After seeing some of these pictures makes think how funny it is how the northern half of the country and the southern half start riding about the same time with one slight difference...
The northern half waits for the ice to melt, the southern half waits until it warms up enough to be comfortable in a lightweight wetsuit. It's been 70° in the afternoon here the past couple weeks and I don't wanna tie a string around my weee so I can find it after the ride. 70 air and 55 water temp is probably prime riding weather in Michigan...glad I don't live there lol
