Last year someone had an old style Kawi cart like this one. I didnt pay attention to how well it worked. I know the tires are small but I think im gonna bring it and give it a try at least to relaunch the ski from sitting on the shore line. Anyone have any input???

Those old style things work great.
Friend had one and it rolled easy even over dry sand.
Anything is better than that 20+ foot drag which tires you out more than a 20 minute ride.

This old Kawi tote is the best thing for the hard Daytona sand. With larger wheels it can be used in softer sand (West Palm and south), too. No straining or lifting. Only drawback is: the open ball bearings in the wheel hubs don't last in water.

I borrowed someone's tote like that 2 years ago and it was the best thing ever. No picking up or winching. It's perfect for a relatively flat beach like Daytona

Thought I would add a conclusion to this thread.

Although I didn't get to ride much (long story) and one of the tires kept going flat, the little dolly/cart/stand worked out great.
Much less effort to drag the ski into the water and the little wheels rolled just fine on that Daytona sand.

For next year I will make sure the tires are filled with foam (home made run flat) and that's it.
