sad thing is i just bought this motor a month ago from a guy on pwctoday forums...i had maybe 5 or 6 hours of ride time on it.

we were riding in caseville mi yesterday and it was like an explosion inside my hull mid-air.

i think it's time to part out this bad boy and save my money for a newer super jet.

i have no idea why this happened, maybe it was just it's time. the only thing different is we were running quicksilver, i normally run super m...it was the only oil for sale in the whole town. i bought the premium plus.

Ouch! Quicklsilver is perfectly good oil. That piston was looks kinda lean to me.

it backfired or something really loud one time when i hit the start button when we were on our way back out after lunch. i'm wondering if something happened to it then, and maybe it was sucking in a ton of air. it was running ok but tried to bog down sporadically after that, it would bog and be unresponsive, and then kick in and run good for a 30 seconds, then bog again. i was actually on my way to head back in and take a look when the rod broke.

Neat trick but can you do it again , I missed it the first time.

to bust the rod in the middle is a neat trick. most of the time its caused buy a hydro lock and some point.

dam.... i got most of the parts you need to peice a motor back to gethor cheep, crank, 771 cylinders and pistons 300 and i throw in some carbon boysen reeds/cages i took my motor apart and descided to go all new for my dasa build
