The NEWA presents - Jetfest 2015 **ROCKERED BLASTER RAFFLE!**

Location
NY
What's up guys, I just wanted to post up some information about next year's jetfest. Jetfest is the longest running free ride in the northeast at nearly a decade and we're excited to do it again this year.

I'm going to quote the post on PWCtoday to make it easy. Stay tuned for updates, pictures, and raffle ticket availability. Hope to see you there, it's going to be a blast!

After almost a decade of consecutive charity based annual freeride events, JetFest will once again return to Northampton Campgrounds, Saturday , June 20th. Sport Island Pub will once again play host to the raffle portion of the event, at which time the Rockered Waveblaster winner will be determined by a local law enforcement official who will draw the winning ticket.

The Rockered Waveblaster build will be extensively documented on both the pwc related message boards, as well as social media sites this offseason. The build will be a collaborative process with both parts & labor provided by numerous Northeast pwc industry related businesses & riders. Should you wish to donate a Waveblaster part, please feel free to post what you have available.

JetFest is the longest running consecutive charity based freeride in the Northeast & has generated substantial monetary donations for numerous deserving entities. Once again, a portion of the 2015 event proceeds will be donated to Morgan Baker who still suffers from a traumatic brain injury - with the remainder being donated to the Wounded Warrior fund.

So save the date & stay tuned for details to follow throughout the offseason.

Also keep your eyes on the builds section for a thread detailing every step of the raffle ski build. The boat will be a rocketed blaster made possible by the following:

Wes Nichols - Hull Donation
Fixt Composites - Rocker kit and installation
Rad Dudes - Parts and build time
ESI powersports - Parts and build time
CT watercraft - Parts and build time
WetWerx water and snow - Parts and build time.

As you can see a lot of people are throwing in their time and parts in order for this to become a reality. If you are interested in contributing parts or time please contact any of the above, or myself for more details.

See you in June!

This is a great event and over the years just needed the right people to run it. And now with these guys all setting in to help and make this event huge I can't wait for it. And the raffle prizes of 3 skis! and 1 being a rocketed blaster this will be a must go to event.

After this last year with 2 big east coast event being canceled, this will be great to have added to everyone calendar

701 Industries has answered the call to help out with the Blaster build for the Jetfest 2015 raffle. A the Worlds largest Blaster Freeride parts maker, its only fitting to kit this Blaster out with lots of goodies.
For the rear end, this Blaster is having a Carbon Wrapped SS Transom Plate. To protect the bondline from getting split I have supplied the Surf Wedge. To keep the pump tunnel clean and have that cool look, we have gone with a rear Exhaust outlet. To finish off the... rear, we will be keep[ing the hull dry with a set of Surf Plugs. For those guys that like to moor there ski while having a beer, these plugs will come complete with Mooring Caps. Last item to finish the rear off is a Duro Nozzle. This state of the art nozzle can not be broken , but at the same time absorbs the impact and can flex saving the other parts from damage. Moving up from the transom, a colour matching set of 701 rear grab handles will look bling.
The hood gets a lot of attention. To make lifting the hood super easy, a 701IND dual strut kit will be supplied along with the H-D hinge . Now that it is gone from factory sloppy hood to a nice and firm one, once closed, the supplied Cowl locks will keep it even more firmer. Every Blaster whether in the surf or in flat water riding should be fitted with a AirDown System. Its the only system offered that allows full engine compartment breathing and prevents water from flooding in when turtled up. OEM breather hoses are just to short. Its a lot worst when these hoses are cut even shorter to clear pipes and carbs.
Last item on the hood is the QS-S. Simply the best steering system on the market for the Freerider. To go along with this system is a set of Gold Mega Fat bars and a set of Black Loc On Grips. And lets not forget the Quick Start. To increase your freeride trick range and to make this Blaster the best it can look, its getting the 701 SuperFly seat. With these parts and all the mods getting done by the other sponsors, someone is going to be a very happy winner.
