OK we all know the ride has gotten so big the law will be watching us closely.
I have some inside info from a reliable source about their plans. :sneaky:
Saturday morning is key!
They will do a sweep of the campgrounds at the crack of dawn sat morning.
They will be looking for signs of drinking on the campgrounds mainly.
We have the houseboat for drinking, but I know some of you will still do it on the grounds.
Make sure all signs of drinking are gone before you crash Friday night. This is how they catch people most of the time.
Black trash bags, nothing see through.
Use a cup, solid color, with a lid if possible.

If we keep the partying on the boat we will have no probs. Also if we have no evidence of drinking on the campgrounds Friday night, they will ease up on the patrols on saturday.
I would love to see the campgrounds left as nice as we left the beach in Daytona. (not a piece of trash anywhere)
Any future Riot Rides depends on this one. So says the law.

Ronny has a great point, Of all the rides, this one is the most publicly viewed. The lake is under the direct control of goverment officials.
Lake Lanier is a beautiful lake with a lot of appeal. All public access is done thru public parks or Campgrounds. The sheriffs dept is the watchdog of all activities. For the most part they like what we are doing. They see the good in it. The big key Issue will be drinking. please do your part to keep it out of sight. Ronny has the house boat as a play ground for that activity. Make sure your empties stay on the boat. basicly use your head.
All future rides depend on this one. Please do your part to see that they continue.

The RiotRide is the Mac Daddy of all the freerides. Please come to the ride & enjoy it. It brings the sport togeather.

Ronny/Paul, let's make up a flyer, I'll print them out and we can stick them on every campsite/etc.

Good advice Ronny. I'd like to add one other thing that caught official attention last year: no 2am jet ski runs across the lake (or scissor-stand brrraaaaps!). It seems like it might be fun at the time, but it makes a ton of noise and really pi$$es people off. Let's look out for each other: so many things that seem like a good idea at the time can be politely stopped by friends who still have their wits about them.

Oh yeah, and nobody is to steal tangerines this year.... :sneaky:

This dosn't really involve the cops but does involve Sneaky thieving bastards.Keep your gas cans and tools on lockdown. Some people got there cans stolen at the fall ride. Wasnt sure where to post this so I put it here. Guess theres a few bad apples in every bunch.

Yeah somebody accidently went through and got cans out of peoples trucks. Just saying there will be a bunch of people there you dont know also. Just take precautions. If everybody respects everybody including the other people at the lake and the cops there shouldnt be any problems. I ride these Georgia lakes and use the campgrounds all the time. If you use some common sense theres never any trouble. And just remember , be extra carefull cause big brother is watching this time:27:

i think that as long as people dont do stupid schitt, everything will be cool.

personally, i think it was effing retarded for people to put azhiaziam decals everywhere in daytona while "trying to promote the sport in a positive light".

if positive exposure is what youre all looking for (and not just SAYING), it shouldnt be hard to resist doing stupid schitt.
