The great white north freestyle tips

Hey dogs ive been driving my sxr for 4 years now and have gotten pretty good. im jumpin high enough to do some sick back flips or barrel rools. Im just wondering what my stock 800 is capable of doing ive tried a barel role a few times and almost pulled off a jack knife its harder then it looks. Any advise would be great even tips on performence parts i should get.

I'll start the broken record..

You can get a Factory Pipe B Pipe
Quick Steer Plate
Foot Holds
High Compression Head
Carbon Hood
Intake
Ride Plate

etc....

Or the best mod for freestyle...

A Superjet.. I think that gets written every second post on the X but it gets written every second post on the X for a reason. I dumped and extra 10,000 in mods and parts on my SXR and it made a ski that ripped but it was just too dang heavy for any decent aerial tricks.

yoo

thks jmike whut lake do you ski grande prarie close to edmonton i think. iI put the footholds in last year but im thinking about selling the sxr next year for a rickter or super jet. Jmike do you flip your ski? i was ripping today and can only pull off a jack knife.

We used to ride in Alix Lake by Red Deere, there is another freestyler around there but he's pretty old and grouchy. I really haven't been doing much riding anywhere this summer (or lack of one, WF and Havasu here I come!). Best thing to do is practice your setup wakes, even on the SXR they help and once you move onto an SJ or Rickter you'll be set. And I would hold off on the flip, the SXR without surf or a huge V wake is going to be rough to pull one off. Even then you'll run the risk of that M1 Abrams smashing and killing you on the failed attempts. Keep doing stabs, subs, hood rides, fountains, turn subs, etc..
