Saturday was the first day of the year that I was going to go riding. As luck would have it, what has to happen Friday night? Of course, me getting sick as a dog. Thanx Murphy!

Spent all day Saturday on the couch resting in hopes that the sickness would be gone by Sunday.:fingersx:

Sunday morning rolls around, and my abdomen hurt but the rest of my body didn't as much. Most of me was good to go, so we headed to the lake.:drive:

I felt like crap most of the day, and it was FREAKING COLD!!!! We did get about 3 hours riding in before the wind picked up and drove all the heat from our bodies.

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor hail, nor snow will stop us!

Moral of the story: don't forget to take your vitamin C.

The Sinus infection god as cast his wicked spell on me once again.......... I had 1 really good week, hell, it was more like 4 days.....

Lets see, a week ago this past Sunday I went to Ga to get my new motor installed and tuned-went to the lake there-it was freegin awesome, the following Sat night I replaced rn throttle cable with a sq nose throttle cable, tape off 2 hood vent tube holes in the middle of the hood(tubes now will not clear TNT chamber) relocate holes to left frt corner of hood and install air tubes. Get up Sun am to get ready to go to the lake and enjoy my new bad azz motor-all is good-kick trailer tires before I pull out-right trailer hub is screwed-run to town-buy hub-put it on-go to lake-cold as hell-ski runs like chit-GREAT DAY!!! Come home 3 hours later really upset. Called Paul-carbs sound too rich-go out to adj carbs some more-still runs like chit(w/hood on-freat w/hood off) YES-at that point I should have fig it out-NOT. 3AM Mon am I set straight up in the bed. Go out to the garage-paint bottom of air tubes silver-put hood on and latch it-take hood off-DAYUM IT-2-2" silver rings on top of my rubber exhaust hose going from TNT to X metal!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah-and the 'dent' in my hood seal from my pulse line for fuel pump that was also pinched under the hood!!!! I do now get dum azz of the year award.
Shortend air tubes 1", re-positioned pulse line-and what do u know-runs like a raped ape w/hood on again!!!

The embarrasing part is I spent the better part of 2 hours at the boat ramp saying 'the only thing I changed/modified was the throttle cable'. Never thought about the air tubes until 3AM Monday morning!!!(which I modified the same time I did throttle cable). I guess my nerves got to me worried to death about the new motor. Whether it's one I build or someone else builds, I never get very far from the truck for a several days until I trust the motor to not leave me swimming. (I know someone is going to chime in about my engine builder-thats not the deal at all-it's engines in general that have to earn my trust over the 1st few rides) which actually stems from a REAL BAD experience with Brian Dunnavant in Centerpoint AL-he got me REAL good!!!!

I think I conspired against myself-LOL-the dumb chit I do sometimes. I felt just like Jesse w/I realized what was wrong. It was a text bood Jesse move if there has ever been one.LOL-not knocking Jesse-he's just young.

The BRAP God's are with me once again. Iv'e never had enuf Hp to know what 'prop spin' is, I now believe I'm gettin the idea. The Lamey's pull sooooooooo freegin hard-for some odd reason-they really do run ALOT better w/they get air.LOL
