Now that setup is ok but if you are truly lazy and shiftless like me you want something easier.I had an old nebulizer laying around that I have had for 12 years,the intake was right on the top with a little cover and a small piece of foam,I removed the cover and the foam ,pushed in a small vacuum fitting and reattached the hose ,took about 60 seconds and it is completely reversible in the same amount of time.Here is a pic it is pulling 20 on vacuum gauge,yes I know my setup sucks! Seriously this will work for vacuum bagging small projects,you would need a much larger pump for vacuum infusing and of course the bigger the pieces the bigger the pump needs to be.

I have seen those but for vacuum bagging you need to be able to adjust vacuum and also leave the pump on the system for long periods of time by using a relay and vacuum switch to automatically turn on and off the system.
