No they're not They backed right out fine. They scared the heck out of me though, they sure looked 'welded' to the head but the plug was the only part rusted.
The little wire is for the tiny tach mounted where the choke would be - but the wire is busted off at the point of the last coil around the spark plus wire - so, unless I want to fix it its useless. The tach is actually reading though, the battery is still alive.
those plugs are fine.i don't see a problem as rust is a poor conductor therefore flashover is reduced..all of mine look like that and never had an ignition problem.i tell you.
