Thank you

No this is not only a thank you for all the guys/gals that have helped me over the years trying to diagnose various ski-related issues or to source parts. Though there are dozens of you in that category.

This thank you is far more personal and important for me to communicate. I've had a pretty rough run over the last 5 years with the passing of my father, the implosion of my marriage, the health issues of my son and my own health issues, both physical and mental. The support I have received here is nothing short of phenomenal. I have only met one or two folks on this site in person in my entire life. Having said that, I have folks here, and you know who you are, that check on me every couple months to make sure I'm doing okay and to offer words of encouragement. I am not a person that reaches out for help. I'm a guy. I go to the doctor if I lose a limb, nothing less. I ask for help in my personal life pretty much never, not to my friends, not to my family. I know that's dumb and I know it's SO counterproductive. But it's the way I am wired. I am way too much like my old man in that regard. Yet, having said all that, who is my #1 support group??? A bunch of folks I've never met and only communicate with over Al Gore's interweb. People bitch about Social Media and all of it's ills, and there are plenty!! But I honestly don't know where I'd be without being able to bounce things off y'all. So thank you. And please, I'd certainly like to reciprocate. I'm a good listener, and I've been through a lot of poop, so I'd love the opportunity to pay it forward.

Thanks and much love,
Russ

Life Happens! We all have our ups and downs, some tougher than others, some life changing.
The common thread in our lives is our passion. We all share it, live it, Love it! It makes us....... US!
Having had this sport of standup completely change my personal life course. I can tell you this,
I have met the most Awesome people ! If I had the chance at a do over? I would not change a thing!
My life literally revolves around the sport, riding, freeride, racing, and of course, building motors.
I could not be blessed any better.
We are all Family here on the X! This cannot be said about other PWC sites, and especially FB!
The X has created a life truly of its own. The long time members know that all to well. Much of the reason they are still here.
Thank you for making this post Russ. It kind of makes us look at what is important in our lives, and knowing our passions plays such an important
part, in touching others that feel the same! Even if none of us ever met in person!
