temp sensor cutoff

does anybody know what temperature a cylinder head has to hit before the safety switch on a stock head kicks in to reduce engine speed?

This if from the 1996+ manual:

From the manual it looks like it closes or activates around 169*F - 183*F... it won't open again until it cools down to 145*F - 171*F.
