Team Scream Motor In the shack

D-Roc

I forgot!
so Steve, Andrew, and myself pickup a crate this morning with Steve's Team Scream 5 mil Stroker in it. Spent most of the day installing it and hooking things up. Should be able to hit the water tommorrow with it. This motor is a beaut with all the tricks that team scream/x-metal tweaked on it. Here are some picks and there are more in my gallery of the install process. Everything was labeled and really straight forward for the install. Props To Pat and Chucky these guys are the Best for a reason.

yeah the carbs are mikuni but the have been opened up to 48 or 49mm from my guess. Everything was all dialed in according to Chuckie. Everything is wired and plumbed except for one tee on the cooling line which Steve will do tommorrow. Its got spark!! just needs some fuel in the tank and should be good to go, I am sure steve will post how it works after the test run tommorrow

great motor, Chuckie built mine 3 seasons ago and it's still going strong.

Three seasons with how much time on it? I'm lucky to get two or three tanks a week of riding time lately.:frown:

I was talking to Pat Bogart at Nats, and he suggested tearing down my motor this winter to check the crank/rebuild if necessary because overall it is cheaper this way then taking out cylinders/cases if you wait too long.

Chuckie sure knows his stuff. :arms: I have not had a bit of trouble out of my engine, and everyone that rides it knows it screams---especially with the X-metal box in it....

Steve ran two tanks through it today breakin it in, that motor barks really low and quick, really cool sounding. It ran perfect. It was a good ride :headbang:

That has to be one of the, if not the, hardest hitting motors you've ever ridden. Yes, no ? It's similar to the last few motors that Chuckie has done and I've ridden them and they are phenomenal.

I bet there is no more than a handful of tuners capable of delivering that kind of performance. It takes time to set up an engine complete with prewiring of the Total loss, setting up pickup gaps, timing curves, carbs jetting, reed cage matching of the manifold, dome machining and squish set-up. Lets no forget the knowledge it can't be given up for free. You can't make money just giving away your knowledge. Lawyers doctors and mechanics don't give away their secrets. A friend of mine used to say No cash NO splash
Looks good.

I've been to Chucky's shop a couple of times and that guy will go out of his way to help you out and explain things to you. He puts down whatever he is working on and takes the time to talk to you one on one and explain everything in detail. I have learned a ton from that guy and he saved me big time from getting burnt on a blaster I was going to buy.

Appreciate the help Chucky.

That's the beauty of some tuners, they are willing to help you out, no matter if you've ever bought something from them or not, because they know it will come back to them eventually because of their knowledge/skill.

Chuck, Paul, Brazina, Art, all top class guys in my book.
