TDR Waterbox

whats the best waterbox? Is it tdr or preference?

Just go with a stocker. Spend your money on other mods. A waterbox will not give you any extra power. And everyone will say x metal is lighter. They are correct I just had one and it weighed in at around 2.5 lbs and a stock weighed in at whopping 4.7 lbs. Then they will tell you it holds less water which I would disagree. With a jetworks flow control and water restrictor you can pretty much run your box dry. So for $200 plus you will save 2 lbs and have a very annoyingly loud boat.

Might be true if you are talking about a RN but my square waterbox was HEAVY.

^^^^^ Why not? Save you about $200.... cant be anymore loud.... lightest thing out there

Should be quieter if anything, as Pvc should absorb some sound.... :haha:

edit: But are you serious. lol

It worked great but the noise was a bit much.

From shore the ski wasn't that loud (as long as the ski was hooked up) but on-board my head was splitting.

Ear plugs ?

I'll dig the PVC waterbox up and bring it with me for the next Sebastian thing.
We can throw it into my ski and see how annoying it will be in the surf.

Might be worth a try.

P.S. My top end sucked with that PVC in there but who cares. It's a 650 anyway.
