TBM Pump Cone

Hello,

Does anybody have any experience with the TBM pump cone? Any thoughts on it??

Also I was looking at their website and I am seeing that it comes with a short, medium, and long cone; but also noticed the freestyle cone.

Has anybody used either the short cone or the freestyle cone and noticed a difference in bottom end?

I am currently running a Wet Wolf FS cone and I love it.:woot: I am wondering if it would be worth it to get the TBM set up.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-CHRIS

Im running it on my Yam 785cc flattop motor with a 12-17 c-75, and it hooks up awsome! Im using the stubby cone, and a 85.5mm bored nozzle...... no slippage, my next step will be total loss.

I have not ran this motor with a stock pump setup, but Im sure the TBM works much better.

Kevin at Legdrag recomended this setup, and Pat at X-metal also said that it is a great setup..... Im sure the same goes for the SXR.

It worked great on my limited setup as well.

I have a TBM Limited SXR. When I originally got it from them it did not have the Super Pump Cone. I since have added it. However, I got the "old" style that does not have three differant pump cones. The newer version has changed the hardware setup (originally 8 bolts) to allow for easier changes between the three cones. With that said, I noticed a good improvement throughout by adding the super pump cone. I would venture to say that the interchangable version provides the same performance but with the added flexibility to adjust to conditions. I am happy with the money spent. Of course, this is only my opinion.

it works fine with the wet pipe...

one thing about the SXR's the prop is the key..........

What prop do you suggest. Im looking for mostly bottom end and midrange. If i loose a bit on the top it wont hurt my feelings.

My goal is to make my boat good for freestyle but still be able to ride around and cut some turns once in a while.
