I will try the different nozzles and cones I have. Maybe I will wait til I get to Daytona. We are getting there Tuesday so I will have a lot of time to screw around. I can't imagine this thing can go better but I am always willing to try something new.

Right now it is the medium cone and the 86mm exit nozzle.

The machine shop said he would do the modification to the bearing cover like mine for $120. If there was enough interest to do a production run he would just CNC some entire units instead of pressing it in.

FYI, I emailed Tim at TBM to inform him about this thread, and if he can offer a longer rear section.

I'm not sure that makes a difference with this setup .Pete told me to get the C-75 magnum impeller to run this mod and he's using a STOCK SXR impeller.
I believe you want the lowest pitch possible .

Pete will chime in

Is the stuff in that glue-stick tube loctite? I know they have a liquid version and a dry type, just wondering what it was.

According to Impros, the stock SXR wheel is 13/18 also. Blowsion told me anything less will cause cavitation, but they didn't know the whole story using the TBM center section.

The reason for the stock SXR impeller was it was:
1-It is a BIG hub like a Magnum C-75 impeller.
2-It is a pretty low pitch
3-It is a modern swirl design
4-It is stainless
5-It was free (Thanks to Norm and Leanne)

Standard small hub impellers won't get as much out of this mod but it is supposed to be better than the stock small hub is with any impeller.

Oh I totally forgot that was in the picture. I couldn't figure out what that post was talking about. Yeah it is loctite. Way easier to use than the liquid.

Any idea of a part number for it or where I could buy it? I agree, I never seem to get the liquid to work well; even with loctite primer. When I take stuff apart that I've built with loctite it comes apart way to easy.
