Tapping fpp manifold

The threads for the stock fitting are about trashed. I can plug and retap next to it, on the back side, or .... can the center of the manifold be tapped easily? I have a deep enough elbow for it...

I would just tap the same hole one size up and use a larger fitting with the same size hose barb.

I suppose I could. The next size up is about the only tap I don't have though :irked:

You will want to go from 1/8-27 NPT to 1/4-18 NPT.

Most hardware stores should have a 1/4-18 NPT tap.
