talk about some bad luck

i had my my x2 laying on its side to do a repair on the bottom that need to be done . that job went well and came up nice . but when i turned my ski back over and went to fire it up the motor was locked up and wouldnt trun over . well to cut a long story short there must off been some wtaer in the pipe and it ran down into the engine with the ski laying on its side . now i have a rusted bore and a crank that is makeing some funny noises when i spin it over by hand :chairshot::aargh4::slap:. so it look like crank rebuild time and maybe ill get away with a home if im lucky . to make it worse this was a new engine ( brand new 800sxr cylinder , new wisco pistons and a rubuilt crank ) with about 10 hours on it .
looks like im stealing the 750 out my pole ski again so i dont have to much down time since its summer here .
ill try and get someics up lata my sd card reader is haveing a fit at the moment :spank:

here is the cylinder with some shorts off the rust in the back cylinder , hopfully a hone will clean it up . the crank is really stiff to turn and quite rumbly when you do so im picking that it will need a full rebuild .
on the up side i got my small pin 750 engine back in today so i back on the water at least since its summer here :beerchug:

Bummer, that really sucks!
I guess that is why I am pulling my motor to work on the sides and bottom

I'am sorry about the engine. But that has to be the most unglorified engine lock up I ever heard of.
