Blaster Taking on water

So after riding pretty hard i've noticed that my blaster has a lot of water in it.

I'm wondering where is the water coming from and is there anyway to stop it besides getting a bilge to pump out the water?

Do you have the stock siphon in it. It's a small plastic box looking thing under your midshaft.

Another option is to dunk the ski in the water and start it up while it's on the trailer. Check for a leak in hull or hose.

I've got one Versiplug on the right and a bilge just in case. I always recommend a bilge. Versiplugs and siphon tubes only work when you are moving and under power. If for some reason you have no power and taking on water the only thing that will work will be a bilge, unless of course you have a dead battery, then you're just screwed.

You might want to move it to the left, if you side mount it will be closed and start to drain sooner. Just an idea.

I've got a rear exit exhaust on the left. I dont want to risk any sludge getting on the check ball and causing any sealing issues. I've had no trouble with excessive water in my ski. I side mount all the time with no issues. The versiplug is out of the water when she is leaned over during the side mount, and once under way, drains like a champ. Not sure I see the need.

hey guys i bought the versiplugs and am waiting for them to arrive. I also picked up a flush kit from a local boat store and I'm wondering where do i hook it up? Ive looked everywhere

My flush kit connects off the line coming off the front of the head. There was a coupler there when I bought it. I simply disconnect and hook up the hose adapter. Piece of cake and easy to get to.
