Not trying to start anything either. But Ronny has made the chick available on cafepress. That means it's open to EVERYONE to buy (not just on this forum) & hopefully he actually gets some cashola for his efforts. How can that be a bad thing?

I know some of the behind the scenes details but definitely not all of them. It was mostly never about the Chick. Some changes like date and location were requested on Ronnie's design but shot down. That combined with the other raised concerns about the Chick initiated a redesign.

The person who did the design for the ride asked for quite a bit of input. They were asked to do it and I think did a pretty good job. Its not something done a mad skilled professional but given the situation and resources available, its not awful as stated. I'll wear one and get some decent comments, no doubt.

I think this all could have been avoided if there was a bit more communication and input from the riders was taken into consideration. Too bad.

No its not awful, if anyone thinks it is they dont have to buy a LSFR shirt.

Ronny has some great skills and the change wasnt about the chick, at all.

Thats not true. Adding a date is no problem. I never said no to adding a date.

Location? I was never asked anything about a location and my design.

The # of colors is an easy change as well. I knew I would be reducing the color count.

I was asked to make an entirely different second design, which I declined.
I knew there would be people who would complain about that too.
The only thing I shot down was making a 2nd totally different design.

so - I thought we were going forward with your design until I got an email with the other one.

So - in the end...your logo ends up on shirts. The other, more "family friendly" design will be available as well.

hopefully, that will make everyone happy.

The Chick was not a concern for the t-shirt. If it had a date and location it would of been a go.

Wow this went south quick.

Ronny thanks for the free work you did for us. I will grab some ts and hoodies for my crew. I know it wont offset you time,but every penny helps.

Ronny your work is incredible and you do it for free. Make it how you like it, if people dont like it, then f'em, tell em not to use it. Seems people take this kind of work for granted. Call a professional and see how much designing stuff like that runs. And the final product wont be half as sweet as what you are producing.

nobody is taking his work for granted.

I think the end result works for all involved. at least with Cafe Press - Ronny will get some money for his efforts. I know I'll order at least 1 from them.

Since it doesn't have a date, or a location - I think she'll be around for a very long time. :biggrin:
