SXR SXR Xmetal Pole Turn Plate Options

For all that is running a Xmetal pole on the sxr, what steering setup are you running? I have a new pole on it's way to me and don't know if my current R&D turn plate will work this this new pole. I asked Xmetal but they were unsure and did not know about the R&D turn plate specs.

I have the Xmetal set up with straight bars. i didn't try my old plate on it so I cant help you much. I am very happy with the X-M products.

I like the straight bar setup as well, but I barely squeezed the pole past the wife. Need to let is settle for a bit and make due with what I have

I am using a Bruins Steering system. It is the best system around in my opinion. Maintenance free and no bearings to mess with. Pretty much bulletproof.

Contact Bruins on here.... He makes two versions, one with riser bars.

Your might need a conversion turn plate. On the stock kawi pole the turn plate bolts to the underside. On the Xmetal poles, it bolts to top so steering cable connection in on wrong side. You may be able to flip the R&D plate over and use it. See what it looks like once you get the pole.

Yep, it should work. I flipped a Blowsion plate and used it for a while....hated the UMI steering though...was glad I switched to the Bruins set up.
