SXR with a dry pipe fuel starving on the top end

I just built a 800 with a dry pipe stock cylinder, ADA head, and aftermarket flame arresters, I jetted to the Factory Pipe recommended jetting, the ski runs perfectly and plug burn is the best that think I’ve ever had. The only problem is long wide open straight aways it seems to starve for fuel, I turned the high speed screw out a quarter of a turn and the plugs got a little darker but the fuel starve was still there. I was wondering about a restricter in the return fuel line, I thought I read that before with a main jet in it to change the restriction, any ideas on this and if I use a restricter what jet size?

Make sure there is enough flow from the tank to the carb. Then make sure the tank vents properly. Oversized carbs use restrictors for tuning part throttle mixture. Stock carbs have one built in the carb.

I ran the dry pipe from 03 to 09 and never had a problem using the 152.5 H and 80L jets factory recommended. Lost a few cranks and burned up a few foam waterbox cradles with their recommendations but that's it. Had a few ADA girdles heads on there too. Word to the wize, extended periods of wfo throttle on anything is the main ingredient in the recipe for disaster
