sxr not running right

Stock 07 sxr with no mods. It had a hard start last couple times I ran it. Weather is getting cold. Just figured it had something to do with that. New plugs in it a few weeks ago. I had a real hard time getting running today. Seemed like it was running on one cylinder. Got it going and ran like a beast. After 15-20 minutes it hesitated a little coming on and off the throttle. It has never skipped a beat ever. Took it out and put it up on the dock. Fired it up on the dock and it was almost like the throttle stuck. Sounded really strange. Hit the kill switch and it kept running. Grabbed the throttle and snapped it and it shut off. I tried it a couple more time. Same thing. Put it back in the water. Runs great but doesn't really want to idle. Either high idle or very low idle. Took it back out. Same thing. Throttle seems like it sticking and the kill switch won't shut it off. Snap the throttle and it shuts off.
Any idea what's going on?

Not linkage. Working fine. I wonder if this has anything to do with it. Ran it on reserve by mistake and ran it out of fuel couple weeks ago. Think I picked up some crap in the tank? Could have one Carb full of crap?
