hey i searched but not found anything on 12/17 skat swirl cutack.

i just ordered a 12/17 skat swirl -5mm, from blowsion.
im looking for best bottom end & blowsion recommended this prop. because they say any lower pitch will cavitate. Any one else run this prop with good results.

I ran that prop in stock class in 2003. Let the motor rev way more than the stock prop and the dynafly's of 2004...now, after mid 04ish, the dynaflys are being bent much smaller than 13/22. I personally loved that prop and would bet 99% of all the racers would have that prop if it wasn't for the Solas dynafly's. There also a couple of Pro's that still run that prop but its modified for each weight and setup.

My top speed was around 52-52.5mp with that prop in stock class and others started getting more top end with the Dynafly and I was forced to change...then quit stock and went back to only a Open boat.

i have a wet pipe, aluminum flywheel, bored nozzle 80mm, wet wolf freestyle cone, worx intake grate, having the head milled for 180 psi. Im asking because i have seen some post that people run 9/17skat with good low end punch, I really only care about low end ,it don't bother me to go 30mph top end. so will this prop give my good increase in bottom end over stock prop. im asking because i want to know before i put it on and cant ship it back.:ugh:
 
Yes - absolutely keep it

Dont get rid of it - period....it can be made to a 13/18 if you ever need it.

80mm nozzle is a pretty good choice - dont go too much bigger because you will loose it. I ran a 12/18 in my limited in 03 with a 80mm hole and it performed very very well in all race type conditions.

heres pictures of the impeller it just come in. the hub looks big, what do you guys think

on the box it says 140-75 swirl
