SXR SXR hood air intake block off kit

Hey everyone. I recently added the hood air intake block off kit to my 09 sxr and my ski still takes on tons of water. The second the nose goes underwater it starts fillin up. Anyone got any suggestions?

Happened quite a bit with my old one as well. I just duct taped the hole shut (which surprising worked like a charm for 2/3 yrs plus). I would do some fountains and then have to put it on the dock and drain it out, didnt have any bilges in it.

Mine has always taken on a bunch of water, I made y own hood liner years ago and it seemed to help....but it is alot of work.

Same here, did the block off kit and no improvement this year I put the frogz skins on and still same. The only way I see it is, get a different hood or add a another bilge which would be my choice.

I put the front air block off kit on and I don't have a problem with water, but I can't get enough air flow with it blocked. I added an extra down tube in the rear and cut out the back like everybody shows but after a sub, it runs like crap for awhile, If I crack the hood open after a sub it takes right off which tells me not enough air, Any suggestions?

Now they make Frogz skins that get placed on your dash board , right by your fuel switch.

Yes they do, and I have these Frogz Skins in stock for the SXR and SJ if anyone wants to try them out.
