long story short....
Background:
I have an 08 SXR, just rebuilt the top end (standard bore), added factory wet pipe, changed main jet (152.5) and pilot jet (80), adjusted air mixture screws to factory wet pipe suggestions, and also have TDR water box installed.
After rebuild:
I hooked it up to the hose and ran it for 10-15 minutes a few times over a couple days to put it through some heat cycles. Then I went for a true lake test to putt around for one more heat cycle.
Problem:
I could hear it in my driveway and could verify something wasn't right in the water. The ski won't go faster than 5mph and sounds like it has a rev limiter.
My thoughts:
I have no clue what is happening and I refuse to miss the limited summer riding season here in Washington.
Any ideas?
