Sxr electrical box and stator question

Hi,

Is it possible to fit a later electrical box and stator onto an earlier sxr engine.

Like an 08 into an 03 or something let that?

Yeah the only difference between them is in 03 they had a differnt pick up system then the 04 and newer sxr's. If im not mistaken.

I did it to mine. If your going to do it, do the entire box and the entire stator system. Worked fine on mine!
