SXR sxr compression

ii just put my new kommander head,stocker my sxr have 175,so i called at kommander a order the head whit 29cc dome,the guy told me the 29 will be prefect so after the head install take thwe compression with the snap on gauge and i read 195.the guy told my with the 29cc it will be near 185-190,i thinkl its a bit too much?what do you tink?

you will have to use good fuel or a blend 93 and 105 or something similar. i wouldn't say it's too much, are you racing? it is going to be harder on your crank. you have jumped it up a bit, it should have more low end snap. i run 185'ish on a stock milled head 93 octane. i tried the r@d plate but my ignition had some advance in it all ready, so the plate advanced it too much.

I had 190psi with advance plate and ran 91 non-oxy fuel without a problem.

so i called steve and he told me to return the dome they gonna send me 30cc one its suppose to be alright this way,nice service!
