Sxr bogs while doing tail stand with WP

hey, i have a sxr
Mods
factory pipe, jetted to fp recommendations
RAD flywheel
bored nozzle to 80
WW freestyle cone
flow control valve for the stinger, Set to flow at 2000ish rpms.


My problem is it bogs so much that i cannot do tail stands, it rips awesome,
but when i do a tail stand it bogs so much that it cannot pull its self out of the water, i can pull the trigger full throttle it does not make a difference. It has awesome bottom end & top end.:261:

Any of you sxr gurus have some knowledge that can help me figure out this.

exhaust is too much in the water to hard for exhaust to get out side exhaust will fix it

hey Thanks, but with my stock exhaust i could do tail stands all day long

my friends round nose sj with b pipe, and rear exhaust don't have the bog, i could do tail stands on the sj with no problem

design maybe on the sxr it points it down might have something to do with the direction my guess wouldve been the pressure of the water but it might be the exhaust diverter thing that points it down

Have you done a hood mod that makes the rear air intake under water when the ski stands up. I done the hood mods on my superjet and when the air holes were under water it made it run rich. So the more gas you gave it the worse it was. But as soon as the air holes came out of the water everything was ok.

If that isn't it try to adjust your low speed set screw. Go out 1/8 or 1/4 to see if it is better or worse then go the other way to see if it is worse or better. Manufacture recommendations aren't always right there just there for a starting point.

how is it on idle does it run well on idle? did it only do it once? It couldve cavitated but wouldnt happen ofter

hey, thanks for the replies, it does it every time i try to do the tail stand,
if the ski is vertical its starts bogging/loading up bad, i tried adjusting carbs but no change, the ski runs awesome if its horizontal to the water, as soon as the nose goes up past 45degree it starts bogging, and after huge nose stabs when ski goes under water completely it bogs bad to. Im going to try to remove the front hose block off to see if it helps.
