True generally speaking, but for Full Spectrums, you had best run what Ed Brazina tells you to run or they'll never run right.

Ed is the man. Follow his advice and you will be pleased. Spending time getting the pop off equal gives more of a pay off when you are working with duals.

He was dead on 2 out of 3 times.

The third time I had to jet down the main 2.5 pts. He told me this might happen.

phils boat did hit way harder down low,but going from stock intake reeds & 38s to a boyseen intake 3 stage reed and full spec 48s,is alot diff than going from a 46sbn to a single 48 full spec with no other changes?
Im about to try switching from a single riva 48 to dual 48 full specs and custom intake, ill post up the diff as well

Just for information, the motor I was talking about:

ported 61X cases with ported stock intake manifold opened to 48mm, stock reeds.
Ported 760 cylinder, 150psi compression.
Stock electrics, stock flywheel, B-Limited pipe.

I have ran a Riva Powerbomb (48) on this, a Full Spectrum 48, and the 46SBN, with no other changes.

He must have a magic flowbench that bends time and space or something. I followed his directions to the letter and it is spot on. Tweaked the screws a little and viola.

I ran dual 46 Full Specs on an old limited boat of mine and they rocked. I wish I never sold them.
I just picked of some pro tec 44's that I am going to try on my baby scream set up this spring. Hopefully they run decent.

Its hard to say.... I also put on a tl system. The full spec I am running is the master carb off of a set of dual 48s. It was very easy to tune and it has no flat spots in the powerband. I will say that my ski hits extremely hard compared to any other piped 701 I have personally been on...
