So this guy brings me a 2006 Seadoo GTI with the 130HP 4-Tec engine. He says that he let a friend borrow it and when he got it back, there was no oil in the block and a bunch of oil in the hull. I told him that there was no good ending to that story.
Also, the pump was missing. WTF?
Not only was it missing, but whoever took it off went through the trouble of putting the nuts back on the transom mount studs.
The story is a bit fishy. I'm going to call the local PD tomorrow to have them run a HIN check.
Anyhow, the guy wants an SBT engine. After I pulled the block today, I think there may be some additional charges due from SBT.
