Super Jet Swapping cylinders on different cases

Alright, im new at this, so bear with me for a minute. I did a search but found no solid answer. My end goal for my ski is a cheap 701. Now its a 94 that came new with a z01, but i bought it with a 6m6 650. I assumed i needed a 61x bottom end at least, but i want to know, can i put a 61x top end (cylinders, pistons, head) on my 6m6 bottom end? and with that said, my pipe on my 6m6 cylinders will still bolt up to a 61x cylinder? Its a coffman sizzler that came with the ski.

to do this, whats needed? does the case need machining? will it drop right on no changes? or am i way out to lunch?

Thanks for any help!

clean up the cases and build away. you might have to port match your exhaust to the bigger 701 exhaust manifold. depends what version of the sizzler you have

The 650 cases need to be machined to accept the larger diameter 701 sleeves, so most prefer to just replace with 61x cases and 61x intake/reeds. You can use your 650 crank and carb.

650 and 61x/701 exhaust have identical bolt pattern so your 650 pipe will bolt right up but some port matching (open up by grinding) will help with flow.
