SV-1

I thought I would post some progress on my SV-1. I am using all of my SJ parts as a donor:
Jetmaniac 735
Ported B-Pipe
Jetinetics flywheel
Stock pump with 11/17 Hooker
Aura pole, etc...

Hull came with inserts for a Power Factor so I just got done adding inserts for my setup (@Rdrttoy set me up with nice black inserts). I also bought a wetjet ebox bracket (stole the idea from @SmittySX) so I can mount my ebox above the front foothold and it will fit really nice and be out of the way. Here is what it looks like so far.

My brother and I (@Frank Mc), took out the 155 pump shoe and put a 144 shoe in. We installed the pump and everything seemed to line up and go in really well. Next step will be getting another bilge basket put down so I can run 2.

I'm probably gonna start a build thread I have all my parts except I'm waiting on a tnt v3 system. It's driving me crazy cause I can't really do anything permanent until the exhaust shows up..20160124_143343.jpg

Very nice! Mine was set up for that exhaust system so that is why I had to add my own inserts for a b-pipe setup. Would have been a lot easier to just change the exhaust and use the current setup, but I am not ready for all that yet. I need to learn to ride this thing first before I try to add bigger motor/power to it. The 735 setup will be plenty for my riding skill for now...

701's in a/m hulls are perfect setups, I'm trying a SS 850 in mine..
I love the surf but I ride the lake a bunch in the summer when the surf is flat so I wanted a little extra power

Some more small item progress made. Added the bilge outlet, epoxied the 2nd bilge basket down and had to splice more wire in between pumps to make them fit right. Got the steering bolted in and connected and installed exhaust hose.image.jpegimage.jpg image.jpeg

The primer was already on the side from previous owner so I just put the bilge outlet above it. I am going to put the bilge switch in the dash but right now the dash has nothing on it.

Why would you need inserts for a BPIPE setup? I'm guessing the waterbox.

Placed in the motor to see how I am going to run all of the wires, bilge lines, and ebox. Getting the mid shaft cover on is going to be a chore but I am happy to see that the ebox will fit real nice.image.jpegimage.jpeg

Bolted the motor in and got the coupler cover on. Mounted the steering and got the gas tank in which was no easy chore. I wrestled with it for a while until I realized I had the exhaust hose pushed too far onto the exhaust pipe. Once I backed the hose off the tank went in nice. It seems that you really have to use the full length of the exhaust hose to get the tank to fit right.

Ebox bolted in, ran water lines and wiring, and hooked up battery. The bilges work and motor bumps over...always nice to hear after rebuilding everything.

A bit of advice if you plan to bolt in a ebox bracket above the foothold, try to do it BEFORE turf and padding. It was a total b**ch to drill the holes and get the bolts in from under the foothold with the turf and padding in the way. Lots of swearing and bloody knuckles but its done!
