Suva's REV

I got the silencer installed and it works pretty well and fits nicely (after I cut it down). It is 2" tube, the exhaust pipe in the hull and on the stinger is 2.25. I doubt the smaller size matters as the inside tube at the end of the stinger is even smaller.
The ski is having fuel issues and is running horribly however.

The diameter of the exhaust tubing and silencer do matter!! If you’re not holding it open then its ok. The diameter + length have there own resonance that affects the tuning and response of the engine

I'm not saying it never matters, but in this case where rubber hose that was almost an inch larger than the stinger on the pipe is replaced by a perforated aluminum tube 1/2" larger than the stinger, I don't think ther would be too much difference. In a perfect world the stinger would just extend about 14" and exit out the ski.

that's just a good world. in a perfect world every ones skis would be hydrogen powered and run on lake water. They would weigh 50 pounds and would be tougher than steel.
