Late Saturday, at the lake… This Osprey grabbed some dinner and perched itself at the end of the dock. I grabbed my camera and walked out towards it. Slowly, Quietly, and very deliberately, I inched ever so closer… until I was about 5 feet away.

He, (or She)...was giving me a look...like "Don't even think about getting some of this!"

It's feet and claws are huge...as big as a human hand! And, It's wingspan is massive. To put it in perspective, the dock is about 5 feet wide.

Such a cool, powerful animal!

Slowly, Quietly, and very deliberately, I inched ever so closer ,but my tummy was rumbling something fierce… until I was farting uncontrollably about 5 feet away the bird didnt like it .
