Looks like the tropics are finally getting active and that means SURF...

2 tropical systems coming for the southeast coast, looks like building surf for the next week or 2.

My thoughts: in addition to the good surf the smaller storms might bring to certain areas, everyone should keep their eyes on “Bill” for potential torrential, deadly “surf”, as well as other things he might bring. Landfall is dependent upon whether he gets caught up in the trough or not, and it is too early to tell as of yet, for models are still conflicting. As of now, he statistically has the potential of becoming a CAT 3. That doesn’t mean you should discount Ana’s potential, even though she is currently forecast to continue losing strength.

Yesterday was great at the spot, I would say around 20 Skies. Nice waves all day, afternoon had big sets rolling in. Water was very clear, nothing like seeing schools of fish when your hitting a big wave!

I missed you down there yesterday. I stopped down the spot after work, just to say hello,(no ski in tow) but by then everyone was packing it up. I once again talked to my boss about getting Sundays off. We'll see...

Sebastion was fun 2-3' yesterday but had just a bit of a bump from being a little windy. By the afernoon the tide had come in and Monster Hole stopped breaking around 4:00pm. I was the only one out most of the day other than some sit down skis.

I respect the fact you ride so much, but I do seriously worry when you go out alone... BE CAREFUL IN THAT INLET ALONE SIR!

Sorry I’ve been a bum for so long (tied up with Hospice usually understand, so tis nothing personal please realize)…I’ll get it all together again. Many hit me up this past week…Cathy’s ski dead stopped when she was full throttle on the river with the gators Saturday :eek5:…Fox is still down…Mike gave up on me finally I think (lol), but he’s out and about and waiting…same with Julian, but he started in on me again yesterday…Gary tried today, but I didn’t have time to take the call…when I’m up and going, I’ll hit up all the others and let you know for sure. I want to ride Sebby!!!! VERY SOON!

(I love that pic you posted Dan…nice job Sir!)

I should have taken a PIC with all those ski's in the water. That was a great day of riding, the waves got bigger as the day went on!

I had a few sets over my head with nice peaks, Gotta love the Spot!
