I love my Matrix ES in the surf. Much cheaper than a Rickter and much better built than....well, anything else on the market. I know it's only a few pounds lighter than a stock superjet but it handles much better and is so much stronger. It also has the rocker you speak of and can be ordered up to -4".

i love the look of the matrix, but im not gonna buy one without riding one 1st.. kinda hard to ride one when there isnt any on the west coast. still havent seen any footage of anyone surfriding one yet.. just a few still shots, which can make any ski look good.
