Superramjet's new ski

Couple questions for you:
Did you buy/build the motor or did he put it in there?
Can you tell us what the whole package set you back?
Does it float?
Very nice ski. Not that I really "need" anything like that, but it would be cool. I bet that thing will just do the tricks for you and let you ride along.
Garrett

it'll floats for sure, it has enough foam and it's built with quite a bit of honeycomb core (which will add plenty of floatation). I bought the cylinders from Jeff. They are big bore oem cylinders with custom sleeve. The motor package is considerably less than a lamey and I can assure you it hits harder. While I was in Oregon I rode an identical hull ( except it was about 10lbs lighter) with a magoo's prepped 5mm lamey pv. That ski weighed less than 250lbs and rev'd quick. I thought it was the ultimate ski, until we got mine dialed in. This one absolutely stomps the other one.
Mines definatly not 250lbs, it has a heavier motor and pump in it. I'll get it weighed soon. I'd bet it's under 300lbs, (which is the weight of my wammer ski)

absolutely beautiful lines on that ski... I want to see more pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only thing that's kinda scetchy is that pole... it looks like it would chop a finger right off... is there a decent amount of space between the pole and hood??

there's alot of room between the two. I have so many more pics but they are too big, i have to figure out how to resize them.

that is some cool stuff. who made the pole?....jeff? and how does the fuel cell mount?

thanks T-bone, Jeff made the pole. The bottom of the fuel tank is shaped exactly like the inside bottom of the hull. Its bolted in with 4 bolts where the tank straps were.

don't know exactly till I weigh it. 148 mag is 15lbs heavier than 144 oem. The hull in my avatar is not mine it's jeff's. That one weighed 56lbs bare with hood. Total weight with 5mm lamey, oem pump, no waterbox, was 238lbs. My hull is 10lbs heavier plus the extra weight of my drivetrain. its very hard to estimate because little things add up quickly, I'll let you know. I can tell you it feels very light, lighter than I'm used to.

yea you never really think about it but a oem pump assy wieghs nothing. it does add up quickly during the making of my watercraft factory ski i was like here this bottom deck is good and light and the upper deck weighs nothing but a gallon of west systems later. and she seems heavy

Thanks Yamaslut, I wish I was going to the slam but it's just too far, Skywalker and I pulled a 52 hour drive (round trip) to build/pickup this and I'm not ready to get in the truck again for a while. I do plan on hitting a freeride event before the end of the season.
