I have my sj all apart ready for a C.A.T.S. trim setup. I've looked just about everywhere and can't find an answer to this. How should I seal the trim cable into the trim tube? I've seen a few guys on here selling caps that require tapping the tube to thread them in. Would just using silicone work ok? Thanks.

put a piece of hose over it and smash it down with a clamp or zip tie.

or a rubber cap with a small hole on the capped end to seal around the housing.
