Other Superjet steering issue

I have a 1999 Superjet that steers fine up to 20-25 MPH. Once I give it more throttle it pulls to the left.

When I bought it the handle bars were bent. I put on new Blowsion bars, the jet looks aligned with the bars. Is this common? Could a cable be getting stretched?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You might want to check to make sure your steering is aligned properly. They SJ FX-1 shop manual that you can download from one of the threads on this site explains how to align your steering.

I believe it has a lot to do with counter steer and steering slop. You can't simply align your nozzle and steering on the trailer and have it be perfect. At low RPM your ski makes very little power and it may be aligned right, but at high RPM it takes more effort to keep the ski straight. The pump pushes hard on the nozzle and slop becomes apparent. You need to adjust your steering so that it will remain straight at higher speeds, however, realize that this may throw it out of alignment at lower speeds. Every ski has some degree of slop, and some skis have more than others. I usually just adjust it so that it's straight at high speeds and deal with it being a little crooked at lower speeds.

With that said, Rhass sells "slop free cable ends". I have never tried them, but if you simply can not get your steering the way you like, you may want to give something aftermarket a shot.

Check that big, white, plastic nut that holds the steering cable next to the pump. If that is loose, it could cause the symptoms you're describing. Also, I would take it off and make sure all the parts are in there and not missing.
