Super Jet superjet starts then dies

I just put in a 701 62t dual carb motor in my 91 superjet. took it out the first time and it ran good. still needed a bit of carb tuning but ran fine. took it out this past Saturday and it will start and then shut off after 10 seconds sometimes a little longer. then I will crank it and nothing. crank again and it will start up and run for another 10 seconds then die. and same thing. I finally got it to keep running but it ran like crap. kinda feels like its loading up and wont clear out. im thinking its my coil ? I know the carbs are fine cause I had them professionally tuned and rebuilt but the guy that did them said it could be the coil going bad. any thoughts ?

Are yoh getting constant spark? Thatd help tell if its possibly the coil

highly unlikely a coil problem . more than likely a fuel issue.

how do I tell if its getting constant spark ? I just changed the coil last night and it started right up and took throttle no problem. its when its in the water it does it
