Super Jet Superjet stalls out

I have a rn superjet; no mods done to the motor besides Blowsion flame arrestors. It stalls out when accelerating out of the hole full throttle. It only happens when you punch the throttle wide open. If you "bump it up" and play with the throttle to get it out of the hole, it won't stall. Only does it when coming out of the hole at a stand still. If I'm already cruising and punch it to go into a jump, does great. Any ideas?

Did you re-jet when you put on the AM flame arrestors? Maybe throw the stock box on and see if the issue continues. I know when I made my ski "breathe more freely" it had a hesitation, so I when back to the OEM box. Honestly I can't see why anyone who rides hard would use anything but OEM, except for the bling factor.

I did not rejet, said on their website no other mods are needed to use them. Can I adjust the carbs, or is rejetting the only way if it turns out to be the arrestors? I'll try the stock box on it.

pop off is the pressure that your spring opens up at to allow fuel into the carb. It is dependent on the amount of vacuum the motor pulls through the carbs.

when i bought my 2004 superjet from new, i only did the prop/intake/rideplate mod, when i would chase bouys it would stall out as you came off the gas a wot and then got back on it again

its fuel starvation.... you should be able to solve it by playing with the carb screws

this needs a pop off adj, not screw adj. actually so does your carb steve. that lean hesitation you have is not enough to kill the motor but still could use some tuning. turning the screws is not the answer.

you need to buy or make a tool. you need to read the mikuni manual. ask some more questions after you do that so you will understand what people will be talking about. the pop-off will have to do with the needle and seat and the spring/arm.

this sounds like the issue i have also, bought a used stocker that has nothing done to i except a blosion flame arrestor, need to turn out both screws past 3.5 turns out to run decent, i still have a flat spot in the midrange.

what pop off valve or spring would I need, assume the next richer one than stock.
I may do a pipe soon, and use the jetting specs for the pipe.

your not so much as letting more air into the motor as letting it in easier. you need the pop off gauge to check where you are and make it lower. i always think of pop-off as the timing of the main fuel circuits. it needs to come on a wee bit earlier. removing the choke plates is also good to do to open up the stock carbs.
