superjet or fx1

can any one help me i am debating on wether to get a superjet or a fx1 and i had a kawasaki 750 sxi it was pretty quick but very heavy and seemed hard to get any air out of i hydrolocked it two weeks ago so its not worth repairing and i want a new ski i went out on my mates 550 kawasaki and threw it about like nothing and the fx1 seemes the same hull as a 550 but everyone says to get a superjet what are the differences could any one shed some light on it

Hey Mate…sorry to hear about your ski. I have a superjet, and my main ride partner has a FX-1. I prefer the Fx-1 when relegated to flat water, but I missed my opportunities to try one in surf (so far). SpecialFx, Hoggman or FlashGordon could tell you more about that (they ride their fx-1’s in both flat and surf, and extremely well at that…you can pm them, and they will be kind and helpful to you).

Happy 4th of July to you all the way over in Essex (and if you are Essex County, NJ, you may not be too far from that fx-1 crew I mentioned).

You seem sweet, so you are more than welcome. Hopefully you start another thread in the My Ski Section when you do make your purchase, for I would be happy to read about it, as would others.
