Superjet Freestyle Build up

What is a better jet ski to build up for freestyle. A 1990 superjet 650 or a RN superjet. I currently own the 1990 superjet but i am willing to sell it if the RN is a better platform to build a freestyle jet ski from

All yamahas are fine, but the RN 701 platform is the best OEM choice..for now....

If you've already got the SN hull, you can mod it cheaper than you could just spending the money on the stocker RN.
Price of a older used stock RN - $3000+
Price of decent parts and motor/hull mods to your SN - $2000+
busting your knuckles doing all the work yourself in your garage - priceless

But if money is no problem than buy the RN and mod the hell out of it!

$1k-$2k isn't worth the looks of a RN in my opinion. Sell your 650 motor for $300-$400 and get a 701 for around $500-$600 and call it a day.

I would want to start with the newest, cleanest, most reliable ski I could before I start putting lots of money and time into it. YMMV.
